Health Alameda County, CA -- Access to quality health care is a vital issue within Alameda County's transgender community. In response to years of not being able to find or afford doctors knowledgeable about transgender health issues, community leaders and elected officials have called a Town Hall to explore county-wide solutions to this important issue. The July 25th (2007) meeting will be the first time that the County has come together in this kind of setting to talk about increasing the quality of life for transgender people.
