The Phallus Palace - Dean Kotula

I found this book touching in its honest account of one person's journey. The photos of others who made the same journey, and their personal accounts - all so different - make interesting reading. The section recounting the different surgical procedures is graphic, and not for the faint-hearted, but it is so necessary. Where else can you get this kind of information? There is also a section by a psychologist.

Dean's own story is a joy to read. It rang so many bells! How people stereotype and try to push square pegs into round holes. Dean, you are one brave man! In all, an incredibly well-rounded, balanced book. The subject of FTM is treated sensitively and intelligently. Well recommended!
