Families Like Mine is a web site dedicated to decreasing isolation for people who have parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT), and bringing voice to the experiences of these families.
This site is intended for adults and mature teens, but not young children. (Abigail speaks directly to teens at: "When I was Your Age...") In addition to providing resources for LGBT people and their families, FamiliesLikeMine.com is also for our allies. Regular visitors to this site include students and employers who are looking for ways to build more inclusive environments on campus or in the workplace. Other visitors include journalists, therapists, and researchers seeking information on LGBT-family issues.
