A practical guide for transvestites, cross-dressers, transgenderists, transsexuals, and others who choose to develop a more feminine image...and for the curious and concerned. Jennifer Anne Stevens is a practicing "T" and has been for her entire life. She presently lives part-time on the West Coast in the male role, part-time on the East Coast as a female. As a male, Ms. Stevens is a highly successful business person, author of more than ten books and thousands of articles in trade journals and business magazines, a world traveler and nurturing parent. As a woman, Ms. Stevens devotes her time to a fledgling publishing firm, Different Path Press. She's a recipient of the coveted "Miss Congeniality" award at the Fantasia Fair, and has spoken to a number of professional organizations and other groups on the subject of "Sex and Gender - Understanding the Differences". The "Bible" on this subject..... this book should be a must on any interested person's bookshelf. |

This is the practical guide I could have used many years ago when I started coming out. For example "If you're trying on an important garment (defined as a more expensive garment or one that will be an essential part or base part to your wardrobe) you should put the whole look together in front of the mirror. You can fix and fuss just as if you were getting dressed at home in order to see if the garment is really for you. Relax and take your time; that's what a dressing room is for." I am re-reading this book now, appreciating the wisdom here that I learned from experience and also picking up new tips.

When I started reading this book I did not know that it had alot of what I was already going through. A couple of times I was reading the book and started to cry as some of the information contained in the book was exactly word for word what I already feel. I am hoping to purchase this book as a friend of mine loaned it to me to read.
