Attendees of the first IFGE conference in 1987, also held in the Chicago area, were asked to step forward. A special presentation was made to Merissa Sherrill Lynn, recognizing her as a Founding Director and Honorary Life member of the IFGE Board of Directors.

The ball gets passed (right-to-left) from Chicago to Nashville, site of next year's Convention.
