Transgender 2001: More Sessions

Stephen Whittle presented the United Kingdom's Press for Change as a model of a tg rights group that is deliberately loosely-organized but extremely effective. York University Professor Miqqi Gilbert's topic was feminist theory and crossdressing. While acknowledging that some find the two irreconcilable, Miqqi believes they can form a certain synthesis, particularly if crossdressers would try on some feminism along with their outfits. Becca Hover, co-chair of GenderPac, talked (with GPAC's Executive Director Riki Wilchins and Treasurer Anne Nenneau) about the organization's focus and the work it does.
